The TES-3901 is a True RMS clamp meter manufactured by TES Electrical Electronic Corp., a Taiwan-based company. The device is used for measuring AC and DC current up to 1000A in applications such as motor maintenance, electrical installations, and HVAC systems. |
| Key Features
True RMS measurement: Provides accurate readings on both AC and AC+DC signals, including those with distorted waveforms. VFD measurement: Includes a low-pass filter for measuring voltage and frequency on variable-frequency drives. LoZ voltage measurement: A Low Impedance (LoZ) mode helps drain "ghost voltages" to ensure more accurate readings. Inrush current measurement: Captures and measures the high surge of current when a motor or electrical load first starts up. 3Φ phase sequence check: A feature for verifying the correct phase rotation in three-phase electrical systems. Microamp measurement: Sensitive enough for measuring current in HVAC flame sensors. Data logging functions: The meter includes data memory, data hold, auto hold, peak hold, and Max/Min record modes. Safety rating: Features a high safety rating of CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V. Compact design: The meter has a maximum wire diameter capacity of 30mm and weighs 326g. |
