Insulation resistance: Measurement up to 1000V DC, including calculations for the Dielectric Absorption Ratio (D.A.R.) and Polarization Index (P.I.). Continuity: Test of protective and equalizing conductors with 200mA DC. Earth resistance: Methods include overall earth resistance (without tripping the RCD), voltammetric measurement, and resistance of individual earth rods with an optional clamp. RCD testing: Tripping time and current for Type B, A, and AC RCDs. Impedance: Loop/line impedance with calculation of prospective short-circuit current. Phase sequence: Verification of correct phase rotation. "AUTO" function: This innovative feature automates a sequence of tests—including non-trip earth resistance, RCD tripping time, and insulation resistance—requiring the operator to set only the value of the RCD current. |
