The HT Instruments HT401 is a professional True-RMS digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature. It features a True-RMS (TRMS) capability for accurate AC measurements and a low-impedance (LoZ) mode to help minimize "ghost" voltages. |

TRMS measurement: The meter measures the True-RMS value of AC quantities, which provides accurate results for non-sinusoidal waveforms. LoZ voltage measurement: A low-impedance mode for AC/DC voltage measurements reduces the influence of adjacent conductors, eliminating false "ghost" voltage readings. AC+DC mode: This feature allows the multimeter to measure the AC and DC components of a signal simultaneously. Automatic functions: The device includes an auto-ranging feature and an automatic power-off function that activates after 20 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life. Safety rating: It is designed to the IEC/EN 61010-1 standard, with double insulation protection rated at CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V. Display: The backlit LCD display includes a bar graph for quick visual interpretation of measurements. Additional functions: Other features include a data hold function, MAX/MIN/PEAK functions, a diode test, and a continuity test. |
